Privacy policy

This policy explains what information BestDeal Markets (“we”) collects when you visit bestdeal.markets and its category sites, and how we use it. We designed the sites to work without accounts and to collect as little as possible.

What we collect

• Usage statistics. Pages viewed, clicks on outbound deal links, the referring website and campaign tags (for example from our social posts), and your browser’s user agent to filter out bots. We do not use cookies. While a tab is open, your browser’s session storage remembers only where the visit came from (for example “pinterest”), so later pages are credited correctly; it contains no identifier and is erased when you close the tab. We do not store your IP address: we combine it with a random value that is replaced every day to count unique visits, so we can’t recognize you from one day to the next. If your browser sends Global Privacy Control or Do Not Track, we store nothing in your browser and count the visit without that identifier. Page-level records are deleted after 90 days; after that we keep only daily totals.
• Server logs. Our hosting provider keeps short-lived technical logs for security and troubleshooting.

We do not sell personal information, and we do not use advertising cookies on our sites.

When you click through to Amazon

Following a “View Deal on Amazon” link takes you to Amazon.com, which may set its own cookies to attribute your purchase to us. Amazon’s privacy notice applies on Amazon. We never receive your name, address or payment details from Amazon.

Your choices

You can block or delete cookies in your browser. If you are a California resident, you can contact us to ask what information we hold; because we don’t sell or share personal information for advertising, there is nothing to opt out of.
